WELCOME

Welcome to The Oceanographers’ Log, a site to get the inner details on what’s happening from the findings of The Oceanographers, a band driven to save the world through music.

TAKE ME TO THE MUSIC

INSTRUMENTS

Achilles has a wide range of new and used instruments, including guitars, pianos, harps, and didjeridus. If we don’t have the instrument you want in stock, we’ll be happy to order it for you at no extra charge! Whatever your style or price range, we can get you the instruments you need!

REPAIRS

A broken instrument is a tragedy, but Achilles can render it good as new! Bring us your damaged oboe, trumpet, or clarinet and we’ll have it back in working order in a matter of days!

RECORDINGS

Is your band ready to take its music to the world? Achilles’s state-of-the-art recording studio is the perfect place to produce, edit, and market your first album!

LESSONS

If you’re new to making music, Achilles will teach you the skills you need to get started! Our team is trained to play and teach most of the instruments we carry, and if there’s an instrument we can’t play, we’ll put you in touch with an instructor who can!

TAKE ME TO THE MUSIC

BAND MEMBERS

Justin Miyamoto

Justin has been singing and songwriting since 2006 and formed the band in 2009 as a way to reconnect with his inspirations from his childhood in Hawai’i. Driven by the music, Justin continues to seek to create music that opens our minds to the possibilities of what is possible through music.

Paul Hartman

Paul Hartman is in charge of “propulsions” on our crew and he is the base driving force behind the submarine adventure that we call The Oceanographers.

Chris McGuire

Mustache extraordinaire, Chris Mcguire, is a man’s man. He also happens to play the drums for The Oceanographers and kicks ass doing it. The “ballistics expert” on the team, Chris knows how to bring it down.

LARRY MILLS

Besides providing me with instruments and repairs, the local Achilles store has become my informal study spot, a place to brainstorm with other musicians.
